The Acute Rehabilitation Centers at Providence Holy Cross and Providence Saint Joseph Medical Centers have been recognized nationally for their commitment to excellent patient care. Both have received the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation and have been rated in the top 10% of hospitals nationwide in outcomes. Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center has also earned recent designation as a PrimaryStroke Center by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation's leading health care accreditation organization.

Rehabilitation services can help patients get back to work, rejoin their community and achieve the highest quality of life possible. It is often part of a medical regimen prescribed for patients who need additional help as a result of a stroke; brain injury; spinal cord injury; multiple trauma; amputation; neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's; or certain orthopedic disorders.
