Randy Rahm was just 45
March 31, 2014
He remembers that day six years ago as if it were yesterday. Randy Rahm was just 45.
He and his wife were drinking coffee together before heading to work when Randy clutched his chest. He didn’t feel any pain, just some fluttering. Linda Rahm, a nurse, knew right away her husband needed emergency help. She called 911 and the ambulance rushed him to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center where he was taken right to an operating room for repair of a ruptured aneurysm in his aorta. Eighteen months later, he was feeling weak, and his cardiologist diagnosed a faulty heart valve, which was replaced. Today, Randy is front and center on the racquetball court
