Daniel Eisenberg, M.D., was born and raised in Chicago. At an early age, he understood the important role that physicians play in helping people maintain their health and well-being. As a child, he was hospitalized for four years for a chronic condition. This experience sparked his interest in pursuing a medical career.
Dr. Eisenberg is the cardiology medical director at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center and the physician dyad partner of the Cardiovascular Southern California Leadership Council.
As a cardiologist, Dr. Eisenberg’s goal is to guide his patients through their health choices and help them with the healing process. He has done extensive research on nutrition and cholesterol, publishing books and articles on these topics as well as giving lectures around the country.
Dr. Eisenberg is married and has three adult children. He has an interest in aquariums and he enjoys fishing and bowling.
The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed.
