Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed. Comments reflect the views and opinions of patients. Comments are not endorsed by, nor do they necessarily reflect the views of, Providence.

Dr. Cashie and her team are always professional and warm. I had to wait longer than usual to get an appointment and see Dr. Cashie when I arrived, however Dr. Cashie apologized and explained that she was down a doctor, hence the longer wait time. This would never deter me from going to her or referring my family and friends. she is absolutely wonderful.

Dr. Cashie was so late she was unprepared, she laughed at my unusual symptoms said she was "over-worked" and made judgements regarding my personal life in recommending a different course of treatment to Dr. [...] who I'd seen 2 weeks prior.

I have to wait days for the Dr to call back to get my results so I can understand what they mean and it can be frustrating at times that I don't feel important enough, I also do t think she talks about what's going on with me and what I can do to help myself as I'm now in menapause, so I just do my own research because Nobody cares more for you then you. :)

I loved her bedside manner. She listened, and when I resisted one of her suggestions, she didn't yell at me or insult me as other providers do. She just gave me the information and left me to make my own decisions which is what I want in a doctor. I was very pleased with her.

wait time was horrible over 45 minutes in a room waiting to see a doctor. lack or courtesy from physician and staff. constant lack of help over the phone. sorry but my experience was very annoying and felt like I was not a patient who they cared for.

my only issue was how long I had to wait to get an appointment

Dr Cashie is the best obgyn I have ever had. I gave birth to my baby last year and it was the best experience I've had birthing. she is smart and easy to talk to. She is not only knowledgeable in her field but makes you feel comfortable to speak to about whatever problems or questions you have. She is oustanding! the staff is too! all the girls always. Ke me feel welcome and know me so I'm not just a number rather a real person. this place is professional and welcoming!!!

She is very thorough on making sure everything is correct & right.

I waited 1 1/2 hours in the waiting room and exam room with a scheduled appointment. A patient's time is valuable and we have work obligations. No excuse for 1 1/2 wait. At a minimum I should have got a call telling me to show up later.

I just met Dr. Cashie, who will be delivering my baby in 6 weeks. The staff at Burbank Women's Health center has been in major flux and unfortunately this means I have been shuffled around to 4 different doctors/nurses within the clinic, had numerous appointments cancelled or rescheduled, and had longer wait times. the staff has done their best to accommodate me, and thankfully I have not had any complications. I just have not been able to develop a relationship and it doesn't always seem like the people who have seen me have reviewed my records. I'm hoping that now that I am with one doctor for the next 6 weeks, I can establish this relationship.

Dr. Cashie was very understanding regarding my needs. I was a patient of Dr. [...] who recently left the practice [...] Thankfully I was able to see Dr. Cashie. I understand that she was completely booked but still was very patient with me, answered all my questions, and made suggestions for me regarding my recovery. I am due to see her again in October.

Dr.Cashie is really professional and caring. Always takes her time in the room to listen to me and answers all my questions.

Waited 30 min past apptmt time to be seen.

I love this office! I didn't think this care was available to me! I came from an awful OBGYN....i that that was medical! Already recommended this office!!! 2nd surgery Aug 2nd.....they truly care. Dr. Cashie & Dr. [...]

Provider was thoughtful, but recommended my LEEP procedures be done under general anesthesia which IS NOT at all necessary and after consulting 2 other OBGYNs I had the procedure done elsewhere w/local anesthesia only - much [...] easier on my system.

I appreciated that even though Dr. Cashie was running 45 minutes behind due to prior patients being late for their appointments, she still saw me as soon as possible because I was on time for my appointment.

I waited 45 min for my appointment even though I was on time. also, I am currently very upset because I need to have a surgery and was told 2 weeks ago that I would be called to be informed of when I can schedule the surgery. as of now, no one has bothered to call me to set up a surgery date.

The doctor, nurses and clerks are all great in this office.

this visit was my first time seeing Dr. Cashie. she is a great doctor she answered all my questions and she also gave me a call that same day to answer an additional question I had. Previosly I was seeing Dr. [...] I started my care with her and to be honest even though Dr. Cashie was great I really missed Dr. [...]. I just felt like she knew my case and now I have to start all over with Dr. Cashie.

I have no complaints with Dr. Cashie, my appointment with her for prenatal care was informative and helpful. My problems have been with the admin and my referrals. [...] So much conflicting information within the admin and reception! This is my first pregnancy and I'm so confused. Again, my experience with Dr. Cashie was great. But everyone else seems to have conflicting info and I'm worried I'm not being handled properly.

I'm so please with Dr. Cashie and her staff. Thankful for Dr. Cashie.

Dr Cashie was very thorough and sensitive to my health history.

Dr. Cashie always makes you feel like she truly cares about your health and any concerns you might have. I recommend her 100%!

We waited almost 2 hours for an appointment that lasted less than 10 minutes.

Dr. Cashie is amazing! Sometimes the wait time is long when you have an appointment but once she does she you she is never in a rush and takes her time answering any questions or concerns I have and explains everything in detail...she's worth the wait in my book so I don't mind waiting longer than normal! the girls in the front are always very helpful and welcoming and [...] MA is so sweet and takes time to talk with you and answer in question before seeing Dr. Cashie. I know Cashie is very busy with [...] being on maternity leave but she is still making the time for all her clients and she rocks!

I could hear the nurses in the back office in a discussion. Dr. Cashie did not have coverage as she mentioned the other doctor in that office was on maternity leave which means I have to wait longer for my own appointment as she has double amount of patients to serve.

Dr.Cashie is amazing!!!!!

I have only been to this office once but i liked the doctor very much. I wish it was easier to get appointments

loved dr Cashie! she was very thorough and also thoughtful and relatable

Great provider.

Love this office. Visits are always great and all the staff is amazing!

Dr. cashie took her time to get to know me and any questions or concerns I had.

Dr. Cashie thank you for taking care of ne and my baby [...]

I checked my chart on the Providence mychart.org website and discovered that despite telling the doctor and nurses that I am Type 1 diabetic with an insulin pump and also filling in a pre-appointment survey on the website specifying that I am Type 1 diabetic, they had written down that I have type 2 diabetes. This is a huge issue and very concerning because there is a large difference between the two diseases. I am upset and offended that my only major disorder was recorded improperly. Additionally, at my first appointment with Dr. Dawn Cashie, I was made to wait an additional 45 minutes before actually finally seeing her, at which point she had not even read any of the medical history that I provided to the receptionist upon check-in, concerning my type 1 diabetes. These interactions don't give me reassurance that I am in good hands with Providence. Will be hoping to see a major improvement at my next visit.

Dr. Cashie is an amazing physician. She goes straight to the problem and gives you your options to take care of the situation.

Dr. Cashie is very thoughtful, thorough and experienced. Fantastic practice -

sometimes the wait time is too long before seeing my doctor and getting my results trough my chart has been a long wait as well.
