About Providence Medical Institute
PMMS is part of the Providence Medical Institute (PMI), a non-profit medical foundation which provides administrative and support services to individual physicians, physician groups and independent physician associations (IPA). These services include office space leasing; billing and collections; resource and employee management; medical and office equipment; information systems; accounting; marketing; and health plan contracting support.
PMI also provides physicians a framework for clinical integration to help improve quality, efficiency, and coordination of care to benefit patients, providers and purchasers.
Additional options are available through PMI for physicians, including office building development; joint ventures; co-management agreements for clinical services; IT/EMR connectivity; and physician recruitment assistance to fulfill community need.
