Dr. Joyce Crawford’s audiology career began in the United States Army. In addition to her employment as an active duty Army Medical Service Corps officer and a civilian audiologist supporting the Air Force, Marines and Navy, Dr. Crawford has worked in major medical centers, private practice, and public schools. She has extensive experience working with patients of all ages, specializing in diagnostic audiology, hearing aids, hearing conservation, and research. Her research interest is in the area of auditory processing impairments as a result of acoustic blast injury. Her passion is learning about new technologies for improving hearing loss, and considers reconnecting patients with their families and friends her greatest satisfaction.
