To this sweet 47-year-old woman with the mental acumen of a 5-year-old, that white coat represented her mother’s tears every time they left another doctor’s office together through the years.
The news was never good, and her mommy, as she still calls her today, would cry for her little girl born with cerebral palsy. How Sandra feared and hated that white coat that caused her mother so much sadness.
