The Dermatological Center at Providence Saint John’s Health Center provides principal care to patients who develop skin disorders such as acne, alopecia, contact allergies, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea; autoimmune disorders, such as Lupus and Vitiligo; and skin cancer, including melanoma, basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma.
Comprehensive skin examinations for early detection
As with any health condition, prevention and early diagnosis of dermatological conditions are the keys to effective treatment. The caregivers at The Dermatological Center for Skin Health have this in mind when giving patients their skin exams. They perform a thorough exam of the skin and immediately begin a care plan if an issue is diagnosed. From a basic skin rash to lupus and skin cancer, we have you covered.
Clinical trials and leading-edge treatments for better outcomes
Should skin cancer be detected, our patients have access to leading-edge care because Providence Saint John’s Health Center is home to the melanoma program at the John Wayne Cancer Institute. Our research, clinical trials and treatment protocols are nationally recognized.
