John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary Annual Odyssey Ball
The festive annual John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary Odyssey Ball will be held at the Beverly Wilshire on March 25. Award-winning actor, producer and screenwriter Vince Vaughn will be presented with the “True Grit” Humanitarian Award and internationally recognized medical oncologist and Institute faculty researcher Steven J. O’Day, MD, will be honored with “The Duke” Special Service Award. Proceeds from the event support vital cancer research at the Institute. ABCs Mother's Day Luncheon
Held at the Four Seasons Los Angeles, the Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies (ABCs), led by president Gloria Gebbia, hosts this annual fundraiser to support cancer research at the Institute. Co-chairs: Beverly Cohen and Sheri Rosenblum.

Auxiliary Annual Membership Luncheon
Proceeds from this elegant, annual October luncheon benefit cancer research at the John Wayne Cancer Institute. The afternoon included a boutique and an awards presentation honoring Sheri Rosenblum with the Angel Award and Jason Jeralds with the Public Service Award at the Beverly Wilshire. Co-chairs Katie Lewis and Marisol Zarco.

ABCs Talk of the Town
The Associates for Breast Cancer Studies (ABCs) host an annual black-tie gala at The Beverly Hilton benefiting the John Wayne Cancer Institute. This year’s honorees included: Marcel Loh, chief executive of Providence Saint John’s Health Center and John Wayne Cancer Institute, who was honored with the Spirit of Hope Award; award-winning actress, author and producer Dame Joan Collins who received the Spirit of Entertainment Award; and Academy Award-winning actress, director and author Anjelica Huston was presented with the Spirit of Hollywood Award. The evening’s entertainment was provided by the ‘80s all-female rock band, The Bangles.
