Education And Support Groups
Support Groups are an important part of treatment giving our patients a place and an opportunity to share thoughts, feelings and concerns with others who are going through a similar process. The benefits help each patient cope with their disease and treatment by decreasing anxiety and depression and decreasing feelings of isolation and loneliness.
Breast Cancer Support Group
The Providence Breast Cancer Support Group is available to individuals who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and their loved ones. This group offers participants an informal and supportive environment where they can share thoughts, feelings, and concerns with others who are going through a similar process. Lymphedema Support Group
The Providence Lymphedema Support Group is available to individuals and their loved ones who have been affected by any type of lymphedema. It allows for individuals to discuss the impact of diagnosis, coping with emotion and access to community resources in a supportive environment.

Pancreatic Support Group
Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is pleased to
offer the first Pancreatic Cancer Support Group in
this area to individuals who have been diagnosed
with pancreatic cancer and their loved ones. This
support group provides an intimate environment
for patients with all stages of pancreatic cancer to meet and
share their personal experiences as well as discuss and learn
about all aspects of cancer in an open forum from experienced
