David N. Tran, M.D. is a native of Southern California who obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at UCLA. He attended Stanford University Medical School and stayed there for Surgical Internship. He then went up north to UCSF for Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Interventional Radiology Fellowship.

He now works and resides in Santa Monica, practicing Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at St. Johns Health Center. His clinical focus is on minimally invasive, image-guided therapies for cancer and vascular disease. His clinical expertise also includes the treatment of fibroids, portal hypertension, varicoceles, vascular access, biliary decompression, and among many others.

He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with a certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

In his free time, he enjoys spending it with his family, traveling, mountain biking, and beach volleyball.
