After spending most of my childhood in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, I received my bachelor of science degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I have always been fascinated with how the human body functions and decided to pursue a career in medicine in my third year of college after following in the footsteps of my father who was a clinical researcher, but realized that I enjoyed interacting with people much more than with test tubes. I then ventured to warmer climates by attending the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine where I received my doctorate degree in medicine. After completing residency training in Family Medicine at Glendale Adventist Medical Center and serving as Chief Resident, I have been practicing medicine in the Glendale-Burbank area since 2000.
I am married and have two energetic daughters who are constantly on a mission to outsmart their parents. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching sports (especially football and basketball), traveling the world, watching musicals, and being a wedding and church pianist. I have also had the opportunities to be team physician for local high school football teams, participate in local health fairs, speak on various medical topics to community groups, as well as participate in medical missions trips to Mexico.
