Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed. Comments reflect the views and opinions of patients. Comments are not endorsed by, nor do they necessarily reflect the views of, Providence.

Dr Low was very professional & nice. Only problem was waiting over an hour to see him.

Dr. Low seems to be very knowledgeable about his specialty, ENT, and my specific condition. That is good!!!

I felt at ease with all staff and Doctor. I felt I was in good hands.

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly

very pleased with Dr Low and would refer him to friends or relatives.

Provider provided excellent care.

Dr Low did not have the decency or professional courtesy to tell me he was finished with me. He walked out , never came back, send a form to tell me to see him in October. I will never see him again. He ignored all my concerns. He is a terrible Dr with no bedside skills.

I had pain on the left side of my face so I suspected an ear/sinus infection. Had to wait about two weeks to see Dr. Low as he was fully booked. [...] Dr. Low gave me four prescriptions and said it looked like I had irritated tissue in my upper left jaw. Then I was given a handout describing TMJ. I would have preferred that Dr. Low explain to me more fully what the actual problem is, rather than the handout. I am a long-time patient of Dr. Low, I just haven't had to see him in the last three years (maybe more) and he has helped me with other problems.

Great experience from office staff to the phone operator. Thanks you use your services again when needed

support staff, nurses and doctor all seemed to care.

The nurse staff is also excellent.

Dr. Nelman Low is an excellent care provider. He is very knowledgable and helpful in dealing with my health issues. My only real issues have stemmed with communication with his staff. I have had numerous issues with getting approvals through my HMO due to dropped ball by his staff. [...]

It took several phone calls to get a [...] scheduled. Dr. Low's office told me a needed to set this up with central scheduling while central scheduling told me that Dr. Low's office needed to this. This finally got resolved and was set up through central scheduling.

Love Dr Low - He is a great physician

I have recommended Dr. Nelman Low to many friends and family. he always takes good care of my health issues.

Dr. Low is a great listener. I came to him for a second opinion for […] which was something I had never heard of and he took time and helped ease my way by asking all of my questions, which I had many and was really scared about the pain in my throat and the swelling. He's compassionate and as a positive dispositions (he laughs a lot) which made relax and he also look at me and said you don't have anything scary happening to you so try not to worry. I will recommend him to all of my love ones if they were to need an ENT. I'm grateful that he came highly recommended to me by a friend.

Dr. Low is an exceptional doctor.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. I waited over 1:15 minutes before seeing him and was in his office for 2:45 minutes total. during this time I only spent less then 10 minutes with the doctor who was very rushed. he ordered several tests and I am no closer to getting any answers [...] this was so frustrating and disappointing. a complete waste of money and an afternoon.

The doctor seems to be over subscribed/too busy. He talks to me as he is moving out the door.

Dr. Low is an excellent ENT physician.

One hour and 15 minutes wait in the lobby, then another 20 minutes wait in the room.Ridiculous!!! I was at the doctor's office overall over 2 hours.

was put on hold for 40 minutes before i could make an appointment. waited long time in waiting room and office

Dr Low leaves without saying goodbye, he goes out of the room and you think he's coming back but he doesn't.

My visits were always good. I received excellent service from the moment I walked through the door beginning with a greeting from the receptionist to the doctor's assistants and after seeing my doctor

Answered all my questions. Gave me various options on what to do about my issues.
