Biography

Biography

Eric Lee, M.D., became passionate about medicine after seeing several family members face serious illnesses. He greatly admired the kindness and dedication of the physicians who cared for his family. While in high school, Dr. Lee decided that he wanted to have that same kind of impact on people in their greatest time of need and was determined to become a doctor.

He wanted to serve in a profession where the mission was to help others. In his pursuit of becoming a physician, Dr. Lee received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Stanford University. He remained in California to complete his medical education and training.

Dr. Lee receives fulfillment from interacting with and caring for his patients. He believes that “every day counts,” and he enjoys partnering with his patients to help them improve their quality of life regardless of age or existing physical limitations.

Outside of work, Dr. Lee is an avid, lifelong tennis player and was formerly nationally ranked. This sparked his interest in exercise, heart disease and cardiac rehabilitation. He also enjoys American history and medical history. Dr. Lee considers himself to be a lifelong student and enjoys the challenges of learning new things. He is married with three children.

Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed. Comments reflect the views and opinions of patients. Comments are not endorsed by, nor do they necessarily reflect the views of, Providence.

I got skipped. The 1:45 appointment was seen before my 1:30 appointment, even after I complained and pointed this out.

The doctor is very considerate, helpful. It would be better if more time is given to the patient and less to the computer. The findings should be explained and discussed with the patient. The "After Visit Summary" should be discussed with the patient at the conclusion of the visit. Otherwise it is confusing to the patient to read it at home.
