Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed. Comments reflect the views and opinions of patients. Comments are not endorsed by, nor do they necessarily reflect the views of, Providence.

I have been a patient of Dr. Eisenburg's for over 30 years and have never had a problem. Being an RN sometimes a provider will ask what you want them to do. This is where I find Dr. E the best. He is aggressive and treats me like a patient NOT an RN. He also is a good listener and very personable. I appreciate this. Gone are the days of the doctor that has time to listen.

Despite a broken collar bone, Dr. Eisenberg was communicative and attentive. It was important to me for him to review the results of the tests I had to take prior to this meeting.

Dr. Eisenberg is an ace of a cardiologist and shows tremendous care for me - my physical health and emotional state.

I find Dr. Eisenberg to be rude and dismissive. Maybe he's joking, but I find his comments and tone very off-putting. If I had a recurring medical condition and had to see him more often than every 6 months, I would change doctors.

The doctor was very nice, professional and joyful person. Didn't go in details about my tests results since my test results came out good.

this doctor Eisenbergh .. is a RUDE AWFUL human being I came to him to council about bringing my husband in for care.. my husband was bedridden at the time.. so I came to speak to him about what needs we were looking for before I dragged my husband out of bed to him .. rather than explain that he didn't work like that.. he talked over me.. insulted me.. and made me cry ... then he saluted me and marched out the door

I love my doctors. We discuss anything I want to discuss. I am very pro-active regarding my health and I ask questions, they listen. I think that's one of the most important things in a relationship with your doctor

I have referred many patients to Dr. Eisenberg. He has a very personable and calming way with patients. The only Doctor I've been to that cares everything about me and my health, not just my heart health.

I complained at the 1 hr and 18 min of waiting. Dr Eisenberg apologized but said it was caused by the 3 heart pts who came in for urgent care and had to be seen immediately. I was happy to hear the explanation and told him so. and that I totally undersztood. One day it could me me or my husband coming in STAT.

Dr. Eisenberg is excellent. He is very patient and kind. His support staff is courteous but they don't always follow through with their responsibilities. For example, the day before I was to go in for my blood work at the lab, someone from Dr. Eisenberg's office assured me his orders had been sent to the lab. However, when I went to the lab there was no record of Dr. Eisenberg's order for my blood work. Consequently, what should have been a 20 to 30 minute visit at the lab dragged out for a couple of hours as I shuffled back and forth between the doctor's office and the lab before I got things worked out. This was additional time I had to take from work.

Dr Eisenberg is my Cardiac Specialist. He is very busy and did not listen to me when I said I did not have high BP. [...] Then I had an expensive stress test which turned out normal. I did not take the medicine he ordered and when he got the results of the stress test said I was right to not take the medicine. Despite that incident, I feel confident in his skill and care for me. He has helped my husband with the right medications and I appreciate that.

I am a 44year old man who had a Heart attack January of this year. Dr. Eisenberg has been great to me and to my wife ,who has been with me to every appointment. I can not tell you how much it has meant to me that Dr.Eisenberg has taken time to explain every aspect of my illness, medication, treatment, and progress. In short its been great to know that he is my physician . I have complete confidence and trust in him.

An hour and a half wait (he is always way behind) before seeing the doctor. 15 minutes with Dr - he mentioned something about poor pulse in my legs - took blood and said see you in 2 months - No information or support - I had to go home and google my symptoms - now I have a lot more questions . . . going to see my GP for the info I need about my health, and to get a referral to a new Cardiologist.
