Cost

Private insurance is accepted with a referral from a Providence physician or physician group. Contracts are with Providence Saint John’s Health Center. Medicare covers diabetes and renal disease and will expand coverage to other medical conditions in the near future. As a courtesy, Providence Saint John’s offers private discounts for Medicare patients not covered by insurance.

The frequency of dietitian visits will be outlined at the initial visit and is based on the program that is being followed.

As part of fulfilling its charitable commitment to the community, Providence Saint John’s Health Center provides medically necessary services, without cost or at a reduced cost, to eligible patients who have an inability to pay for their care. Our commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive health care services – regardless of a patient’s ability to pay – ensures that the financial situation of people who need health care services does not prevent them from seeking or receiving care. Please contact us for further details regarding financial responsibility.
