Relationships are an important part of his practice. Dr. Wenger makes it a point to get to know his patients. What they do for work, what their hobbies are and what their home life is like. Understanding someone personally, he says, allows him to provide better care for them, especially generations of families he has seen for the last 30 years in practice.
The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed. Comments reflect the views and opinions of patients. Comments are not endorsed by, nor do they necessarily reflect the views of, Providence.
