Dr. Weinstein began pursuing his goal of becoming a doctor in Rochester, New York. He began his medical training at the University of Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico and returned to his native New York to complete his training at university hospitals in New York City, Buffalo and Syracuse. In addition he did a burn fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md.
Dr. Weinstein enjoys providing family, urgent and industrial care, and devoting time to his special medical interests – nutrition, hand injuries and burns.
He is a resident of Hermosa Beach, and when he has time, finds pleasure in golfing, traveling, rollerblading, skiing and speaking Spanish.
The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed.
