Having grown up in the South Bay, She is so happy to be serving the community here. She believes in a team approach to medicine, based on a strong physician-patient relationship, in which the patient is an important decision-maker. Her role is to educate and empower her patients.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching her two children explore the world around them, doing yoga, and going to the beach.

This is my first visit with Dr. Wardwell, although I do see other Providence providers on a regular basis. The purpose was to discuss low red blood cell count, fainting and dizziness spells, extremely low blood pressure but on a sporadic basis. Dr. Wardwell listened to my long explanation over past health issues and understood my needs. She has recommended two specialist to assist me with my future care and I feel she has my best interest at heart. I feel more confident about my health problems and I definitely appreciate Dr. Wardwell's professional attitude.

My care provider is great!, but the records that have been change. Due to the computer system of Little Company of Mary. My old information is lost! Why? Why was not my old information saved before changing to the new system? Dates are wrong! Other doctors that I have seen. That are not part of Little Company of Mary is not recorded, and in the system! Doctors that Little Company of Mary wants me to see. I have seen already. Just they are not part of Little Company of Mary! I am not happy with this change!

Felt that this provider does not care about elderly stated "after 80 yr's. of age they look at how they would treat cancer mostly palliatively.

Everyone is very nice - the only confusing issue for me has been when I was given a lab slip the first time - I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do or where to go - which lab worked best w/my insurance. I spent a lot of time figuring out which lab to go to - I recommend when you give a patient a lab slip - you inform them the directions they need to follow to go get their labs - where to go - how to make an appointment, etc. I've noticed sometimes nurses do this and sometimes they just hand you the lab slip and walk out.

Dr Wardwell has difficulty with patient interaction. She has poor people skills and a challenged bedside manner. When she feels insecure, she passively aggressively uses irrelevant issues to exert her authority. [...]

It's not the care provider (Doctor) it's the office. It seems there is a communication gap. Between sending information through the computer to the doctor's office! Why?

Dr. Wardwell is one of the best physicians I have ever experienced. She is kind, patient, and wants the best care for her patients. I feel comfortable asking her questions, and she explains the answers in a way I understand.

I came into office with all the pertinent medical data regarding a medical condition. I was advised by rheumatologist in PA to make appt. with GP to help manage my medical care and to provide appropriate prescription medicine for such care. I was in significant pain and was unable to sleep; (month earlier was diagnosed with AUTOIMMUNE DISORDER) and desperately needed Dr. Wardwell's help. She could tell I was serious and explained she could not. I was devastated [...] came to her for care, left with none.

I am very happy with the quality of care from check in to appointment completion. The nurse that took my blood for the lab was very professional and I felt I was in good hands. I am very happy with Dr. Ward well and will recommend her to friends and family.

I have no problems with Dr. Wardwell. She is a great doctor. I do have problems with getting information to Dr. Wardwell. Either making a call. That Dr. Wardwell never receives from me. Also sending a message on "MY Chart." Which again Dr. Wardwell never receives. This seems to happen too often! […]

The wait was about 10-15 min in the lobby and 40 in the exam room. My actual time with the doctor was only about 10 min but I spent over an hour during my visit waiting 40 min […] in a paper gown in a cold room is far too long. No one came by to check in or let me know my wait would be so long. In fact, I had to step out and ask 2 different people before the doctor finally came in. […]

Dr. Wardwell is a great doctor, BUT! The office workers for transferring calls, and answering back calls is not working at all!!!
