David Sato, M.D., is a boardcertified cardiologist. A California native, he was raised in a family of health care providers. His father was a general practitioner, his uncle, a pediatrician, and his aunt, a registered nurse. This exposure growing up prompted him to pursue medicine.
Dr. Sato strives to provide his patients with high-quality medical care. In order to do this, he feels that gaining his patients’ trust by keeping them informed every step of the way is crucial. Over the years, Dr. Sato has developed longterm relationships with his patients, which he finds rewarding.
In his personal time, Dr. Sato enjoys cycling and fly fishing. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, a pediatric/postpartum nurse, and three adult children.
The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed.
