Registered Nurse in 1977 and worked as a nurse's aide, unit secretary and RN through college and medical school. She received her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine and completed both her Internship and Residency at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center.
Dr. Richey's mission is to partner with patients to guide them and ease their way through the adventure of pregnancy, birth and new parenthood. She strives to highlight the birth experience as a natural process and provide highly individualized care for each woman. Her goal is to know her patients well, provide good health information, and help them navigate their way to the healthiest life possible.
Dr. Richey is a fourth generation Los Angeles native. She enjoys travel, music at Disney Concert Hall and watching Dodger baseball with her husband, Stuart, and daughter, Arielle.
The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed.
