Sean A. Fischer, M.D., completed his hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he was the chief fellow. Board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology, Dr. Fischer’s practice is focused on general hematology and medical oncology, and he has broad experience in both fields.
Dr. Fischer has participated in clinical research and published articles on hemophilia, primary brain tumors and lung cancer. He is also an active member of multiple professional societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology, and he has been listed in Best Doctors in America and Los Angeles Super Doctors.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Fischer enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters.
The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey.
