Neurotrauma

Providence Holy Cross Medical Center's Level II Trauma Center, a 24-bed intensive care unit, is equipped and designed to treat patients who experience a catastrophic brain injury or spinal cord injury. A neurosurgeon is available in the center 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to the patients' needs that come through our trauma center. The multi-disciplinary team includes neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, trauma surgeons, nursing and technical staff, physical therapists and occupational therapists, and social workers.
