Kayur Shah, MD, is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea surgery and uveitis. He received his medical degree from UC San Diego. He completed his internal medicine internship at Southern California Kaiser Permanente Medical Group and his ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. He also completed a Heed fellowship, specializing in cornea-external ocular disease and uveitis at UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute.
Dr. Shah's clinical areas of expertise include cataract surgery, cornea surgery, glaucoma surgery, eyelid surgery,strabismus/pediatric surgery, uveitis and inflammatory disease of the eye. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
As an ophthalmic surgeon, Dr. Shah is dedicated to providing the finest quality care for his patients in a warm, supportive and friendly environment. He respects the diverse needs of his patients and makes every effort to ensure they are addressed. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Dr. Shah is a member of the Providence Holy Cross Medical Staff providing care in ophthalmic surgery.
