I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. My father, who was a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, inspired me to become a compassionate physician.

During my high school summers, I enjoyed working at my father's office. I enjoyed listening to patients, learning about their stories, and tackling their health concerns. These experiences were the seeds of my love for medicine. Now, I am able to be a part of the most amazing stories of women's lives like birth, menstruation and menopause. As an obstetrician/gynecologist, I aspire to bring a spirit of trust, details and kindness to each story.

I am married to Kay Madati. We have a daughter named Morgan.

I enjoy cooking, scrapbooking, running and traveling across the world.

Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety. However, language that may contain profanity, slander, libel or private health information is removed. Comments reflect the views and opinions of patients. Comments are not endorsed by, nor do they necessarily reflect the views of, Providence.

Dr. Sanders is one of the best doctors I have ever had. extremely friendly and truly cares about her patient. Always explains things thoroughly and spends as much time as needed to make patient feel comfortable yet is efficient with her time. I have already recommended a friend to her.

Dr. Sanders Madati is very patient and easy to talk to.

always a good experience. Professional, kind, friendly staff. good and clean office environment.

My doctor and staff are the best! Hands down! Any and every time I come to the doctor I know I'm going to be taken care of and made FULLY aware of every step of it. I wish I could share my doctors and team with everyone in the world because I know soooooo many people who wish they had the care and genuine love that I get from my doctors. I wouldn't change anything about my doctors at all, it's been a pleasure to be so lucky to have the care they genuinely exhibit.

This office is too busy and understaffed to accommodate timely appointments both for booking and for actual appointment time visit with doctor in the exam room.

Dr. Madati was very attentive and I appreciate her due diligence and concerns. I'm so happy that I picked her as my GYN dr.

I sent two emails regarding blood work results and after the second email two of Dr. Sander's colleagues reached out to me via phone and email. This was rather frustrating because the reason for my visit I deemed as the patient to be very personal, sensitive, and serious. I arrived both times to my appointments fifteen minutes early and both times I waited for an hour after my fifteen minute early arrival to be called into the examination room. That is unacceptable.

Dr. Sanders is a great OBGYN

she was late and I wasn't notified that she wasn't in the office for at least 30 minutes after getting into the exam room. I felt like my time was disrespected and not valued by this provider.

I wish I would've saw her a year ago. She is fabulous!

Dr. Sanders was very patient and was able to provide me with all the answers to my questions.

Dr. Mia Sanders Madati is wonderful! I feel so blessed to have her on my wellness team. She is excellent, caring, and really listens. My only suggested feedback is her assistant or nurse is not very warm or friendly. On both of my visits, her assistant/nurse felt on-edge and not positive. The front desk staff is very helpful and positive.

I waited almost an hour for my appointment and assistance was minimal.

referral process is frustrating [...]

dr sanders is a very caring Doctor. diligent and knowledgeable.

I've been to the office 3 times and had to wait at least 45 minutes to almost 2 hours past my appointment time to see the doctor. Dr. Sanders is very nice, however she is difficult to reach when I have a question. I have had to call to obtain my results, since they were not uploaded into MyChart. I am actually still waiting to hear back from my most recent appointment.

It was a little longer wait time than usual, but as long as I was seen, it was ok.

Love the doctor. However, everytime I have an appointment I wait at least 30 minutes in the room. This last time was the worst with about an 1 hr and 15 minutes. I went to one of the nurses when /I had almost an hour and that's when I was informed that she was a bit behind schedule since they are under staff. The nurse informed me it would be another 15-20 minutes and sure enough it was. My appointment was at 9:30am and I was seen until almost 11am. [...]

I waited for over an hour before I got to see the doctor. [...]

Just wonderful and extremely knowledgeable.

It has always been a blessed experience.

i have had good experiences so far only bad is when i have to give blood i always get poked more the 2 times
