Dr. McDonald is an expert consultant in two major specialties Ob/Gyn and Anesthesiology. He is board certified in both specialties. He initiated and supports a generalized approach to self understand and concept of personal HEALING in chronic pelvic pain. His emphasis is upon the diagnosis and treatment of various pelvic neuropathies in both male and female patients. Dr. McDonald makes maximal use of the multidisciplinary approach model pioneered by the father of chronic pain management, Dr. John J. Bonica. This and interwoven use of complimentary and alternative medicine to raise the level of successful treatment is the foundation and success of his new Pelvic Pain Specialty clinic in Los Angeles, California. The clinic takes only specific related female and male related chronic pelvic pain patients on consultation.
