Dr. Sandra Ho is a native of Southern California and attended UCLA for undergraduate studies completing dual majors in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, and American Literature. After several years of working in public health studying ethnic minority health disparities, she matriculated into medical school at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington D.C. and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Dr. Ho then came back to California for residency and completed training in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. She then went on to complete fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at one of the oldest and most well established programs in the nation the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Ho has been a principle investigator on research involving novel biomarker exploration in asthma and also health related quality of life in children with persistent asthma. Dr. Ho is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Allergy and Immunology.
